Dr. Marshall has been in practice since 2004. He has practiced at the same location in south Tulsa near the intersection of 81st and Sheridan the entire stint of his career. From 2001 to 2004 he was an intern at the Parker Chiropractic Clinics located in Dallas and Irving Texas. He learned alongside staff doctors mastering 3 different chiropractic techniques while treating thousands of patients in the Dallas metroplex area.
Dr. Marshall uses multiple adjustment techniques to meet the needs of each patient. The traditional “popping” technique can be used as well as a table assisted and instrument adjusting technique. Table assisted and instrument adjusting techniques are good for those who do not prefer the traditional adjustments that produce a “pop” noise. For some patients, all 3 techniques are used. Either way, at Marshall Chiropractic, a technique that you are comfortable with will be used.
Physical therapy modalities are administered before each adjustment when appropriate. We also have a licensed massage therapist on staff. These therapies help with the release of muscle tension to allow for easier and more comfortable adjustments to the spine. Spinal decompression therapy is another unique service used at our clinic. Decompression therapy is used for patients with lower back pain or sciatic type symptoms. A full examination will be performed for each new patient so the correct care can be recommended and eventually given. X-rays are only taken when absolutely necessary.
Dr. Marshall’s services compliment those of the medical profession. He will always give appropriate referrals to physical therapists and other healthcare professionals when necessary. In the case of an auto accident or personal injury, a referral to an attorney can be given as well if so desired.
Dr. Marshall has a desire to help those who are in pain or just want to live a healthier lifestyle. This passion is what compels him to spend quality time with each patient and come up with a detailed treatment plan. The treatment plans given are short and concise. Maintenance plans can be discussed as well if desired.
